President, DMB Sports Clubs
A 40-year fitness industry veteran, Nalevanko graduated from the University of South Dakota and began her career as an Activities Director at a small, multi-recreational health club in Phoenix, Arizona. She currently is a member of the Arizona Business Leadership Group, Faust Executive Group, served for seven years on the Phoenix Sun’s Charities Board of Directors and served two terms on the IHRSA (International Health Racquet & Sports Club Association) Board of Directors. Nalevanko was also named Distinguished Business Woman of the Year by Club Industry.
At DMB Sports Clubs, Nalevanko oversaw the design and construction of the new $25 million Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa, the DC Ranch and Gainey Ranch facilities, the DC Ranch Tennis Center, the $7.5 million expansion and renovation of the Camelback Village, along with a new group training facility at the Gainey Village. In 2017, Nalevanko developed a partnership with Troon Golf to offer Village members exclusive golf events and discounts, as well as a designated home golf course for each of the Village Clubs.
Nalevanko helped serve the community through her leadership on the Phoenix Sun’s Charities board from 2008 through 2014. Her philanthropic efforts are part of the Village’s culture. Under Ms. Nalevanko’s direction, Village employees and members work together to give back to charities and causes across the Valley. The Boys and Girls Clubs, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Feed My Starving Children, UMOM New Day Center, Habitat for Humanity and Chrysalis are just a few of the many charities that have benefited from the efforts of the Village. The Village also has annual leadership volunteer days as part of its employee training and community involvement efforts.
